Day 117 - Jesus Will Save A Seat In Heaven For Us

Focal Scripture: Matthew 24:42-51

    Hello everyone my name is Bryan and welcome to Bible Scoop. Today, we turn our attention to the book of Matthew, its 24th chapter verses, 42-51. https://www.bible.com/bible/296/MAT.24.42-51

    In this scripture, we can see Jesus telling us two things, one, how to get ready for the second coming of Jesus, and two, the two different ways to live our life here. Let us dive deeper into these two very important things.

    Number one is how to get ready for the second coming of Jesus. Jesus repeated himself many times in the New Testament, whenever he was preaching to the public, about this. To fully prepare for the second coming of Jesus, we must first listen to God.

    And when we listen, we can understand that one of the main things Jesus Christ repeatedly said is that we (the chosen people of God) have to first follow the ten commandments of God, second, we have to preach the Word of God to the people who don't know. And, lastly, live in faith and love towards God all the time. These three things are just the main things, but there are a lot more things written in the Bible and we have to try our level best to follow most of them.

    Number two is the two different lives that are put in front of us as a choice of how we want to live. The two choices said through the parable are, one, we can be happy and always grateful for the blessings given to us by God and continue praying regularly, the way we used to pray before getting blessings.

    Two, we get the blessing and start enjoying our lives and we enjoy it so much that we forget about God and stop praying to God. And when Jesus on the second coming comes here and sees us the people who forgot him. We will have to share or suffer the same fate of the hypocrites which is rot in hell.

    So friends from today onwards, let us remember to spend most of our time getting ready for the second coming of Jesus as we don't know when Jesus is coming. And let us not forget to take the life that loves God and is always grateful, because this is the life God wants us to take. And let us remember that if we do live the life God wants us to live and get ready for the second coming of Jesus we can be sure that, JESUS WILL SAVE A SEAT IN HEAVEN FOR US!
