Day 124 - Easter: Resurrect With Him
Focal Scripture: Matthew 28:1-20
Hello guys, my name is Bryan and welcome to Bible Scoop. Today, we turn out heads to the scripture of the most joyful day of our lives as Christians, Easter. The scripture is, Matthew it's 28th chapter verses, 1-20. https://www.bible.com/bible/296/MAT.28.1-20
In this scripture, we can see the glorious resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ three days after his crucifixion. We might just see today as a day we can eat meat or come back to what we moved away before the Lent started. But actually it is a day that God is telling us to do certain things for us to be saved. God through this scripture is telling us two things. Let look into it.
One, when the angel appeared to Mary Magdalene and the other Mary the angels gace instructions for them to do. God is telling us that those instructions did not come from angels, but from God they praise loudly in Heaven. And, Mary magdalene and the other Mary listened carefully and followed the will of God by going to Gallilee (according to the instructions).
And they saw Jesus' glorified resurrection and they had a complete turn in their life as they saw the one and only God's Son resurrected with his power and mercy and that is all that is needed as Christians and it is the biggest blessing you can get living in the world. This also was a ticket to Eternal Life clearly.
Second, Jesus Christ as what he said to his disciples about his glory, Jesus Christ is telling us that when we see Jesus or believe in his love and his resurrection, we will surely have God with us always until the end of age. As this is what Jesus said. Jesus ultimately at this holy occasion is telling us that with him, we have to resurrect from the river of sins that we are drowning in.
We have to resurrect from all the bad things that we have done and start to love him. Jesus Christ is telling us that for us Christians, the chosen people of God, this is our new year where we take on a new and spiritual life.
So friends from today onwards, let us not forget to do God's will and see his glory and be saved. Let us also remember that this glorious day has to be our new year, where we resurrect with Jesus from our sins and all the stains of our life. Let us also remember one more thing, let us remember that Jesus surely on this blessed day will help us, RESURRECT WITH HIM!
