Day 110 - Side Of Truth

 Focal Scripture: John 6:47-59

    Hey everyone, my name is Bryan and welcome to Bible Scoop. Today, we turn our heads towards the book of John, its 6th chapter verses, 47-59. Let’s head into it. https://www.bible.com/bible/296/JHN.6.47-59

    In this scripture, we see Jesus telling the truth and trying to make the people of Capernaum believe in the truth. Today, we are only focusing on three things that Jesus Christ said that is, 1. “If anyone eats this bread, he will live forever.” 2. “Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will raise them to life on the last day.” And, 3. “Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood live in me, and I live in them.” So, what does number one, two/three mean? Let’s find out.

    The meaning of number one is not living forever in this world by taking the bread of God, but rather it means living forever through spirituality. Let me explain. Now, living forever through spirituality means that will be protected from all the evil spirits roaming around the world. And, also we will receive eternal life. And, we will head into Heaven and that's the best thing we can have. All this is only possible if we have firm faith. 

    The meaning of number two is technically receiving eternal life and getting to meet Jesus Christ. Now, why? That's the question, why? It is because when we receive the Holy Bread of Jesus Christ it is showing that we believe that through the bread of God, we will receive eternal life and be saved. Now, when God sees that belief he can't do anything but bless us and shower with us with his beautiful love. And, no matter the cost he will protect us. 

    And last but not least number three. Number three means that when we eat the Bread of Life we bring in Jesus Christ. And, Jesus Christ lives in us. And what Jesus meant is that when he lives in us we have to push away all the bad activities or bad anything that we’re doing. And, we are going to get this inner feeling from the Holy Spirit that says, “Don’t do that!” We’re going to get this repeatedly and sometimes we won’t even listen and continue and continue to not listen and slowly God is going to move apart from us. But, he is still going to be there, because he is going to give us a choice that we can take, and he’ll be waiting when we choose his way. And, we have to remember that even though how far we go from him he will still hold our hands so that when we make the choice of going to his path, he can pull us up. 

    So friends from today onwards, let us make sure to remember these three very important things. Let us also think about the beautiful love that God gives us every day, and let us also make sure to praise him loudly every day for all the fascinating things he has given us. Let us remember one more thing, that is, when we understand and believe in this truth let us remember that we are going to be on the better side, the SIDE OF TRUTH!
