Day 105 - The Kingdom Of Heaven Will Be Given To Us

 Focal Scripture: Luke 9:57-62

    Hey everyone, my name is Bryan and welcome to Bible Scoop. Today, we jump into the book of Luke, its 9th chapter verses, 57-62. Let’s head into it. https://www.bible.com/bible/296/LUK.9.57-62

    In this scripture, we see the “would-be followers of Christ”/the not true followers of Christ. The reason is their lack of giving the first priority to Jesus Christ. And, God through this scripture is telling us how we can be “THE TRUE FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST”. Let’s see what God is saying.

    God is mainly saying that to be the right followers of Christ Jesus, we have to always give him the first priority. Because, as we can see in this scripture, the people who said that they would follow Jesus, actually did something before they did. So, in other words, God is saying to give the top importance to God first. 

    Now, in verse 58, we can see Jesus talking about nowhere to rest. So, God is telling us through this verse, that as Christians/as the chosen people of God we have to pray at all times to God and worship him. God is also telling us that as Christians/believers of Jesus Christ, we are going to go through the most troubles in the world because as Jesus Christ also said, “If the world hates you, just remember that it has hated me first. (John 15.18)” And, God is also saying another wonderful thing through this Bible scripture, that is, when we give the first priority or the most enormous importance to God, then surely we will be promised the Kingdom of Heaven.

    So friends from today onwards, let us remember that the best thing we can do as Christians or as followers of Christ is to give Jesus the first priority or the biggest importance in our life. And, let us remember one more thing today: if we give Jesus the first priority, surely, THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN WILL BE GIVEN TO US!
