Day 96 - Blessed With Eternal Life

 Focal Scripture: John 12:20-26

    In this scripture, we see the Greeks eager to see Jesus. Today, we are only focusing on the words of Jesus. We are also going into the depth of two factors to be a proper Christian, that we have already discussed (following God’s commandments and preaching the Word of God to the world).

    To follow God’s commandments is very simple and important and it is a factor to be a proper Christian. Now, Jesus through this scripture is telling us that in order to follow Jesus’ actions we have to lose our life in this world. There are 2 meanings for this; number 1. When Jesus said that we have to lose our life in this world, he meant, to move away all our sins, worldly aspects and all of that stuff that is present in this wicked world just for God. And to add, Jesus said that when we lose our life for God we are easily receiving Eternal Life and a louder voice of the Holy Spirit in us. 

    Jesus after this said that we have to preach the Word of God to the world. This is meaning 2. We should also be able to preach without embarrassment and we should able to take on the risk and challenges associated with this, when we do, God will surely be so happy and give us everything 

    So friends from today onwards, let us ensure we understand these 2 meanings and follow them. Let us also know that these 2 things are really important. Let us also remember one more thing, that is, when we follow by these 2 things we will surely be BLESSED WITH ETERNAL LIFE!
