Day 103 - Love God The Right Way

 Focal Scripture: John 21:15-19

    Hey everyone, my name is Bryan and welcome to Bible Scoop. Today, we turn our heads to the book of John, its 21st chapter verses, 15-19. Let’s head into it. https://www.bible.com/bible/296/JHN.21.15-1

    In this scripture, we see Jesus trying to see if St. Peter actually loves him. Now, we obviously know that Jesus already knew that St. Peter loved him, so now we might be wondering why did Jesus ask him then? Let’s see why.

    The reason why Jesus asked St. Peter about this, was because Jesus wanted to tell us something from this. The thing God wanted to tell us is that if we love God, we have to do something really important and that is to preach the Word of God (give the Holy Spirit) to our brothers and sisters, who have turned their backs towards God.

    Because, Jesus said to St. Peter, “Take care of my sheep.” Now, we can’t actually take care of everyone who is forgetting God. Because that’s practically impossible. So, God asked us to give them the best care, which is to preach the Word of God and give them the Holy Spirit.

     So friends from today onwards, let us make sure to 1, love God and 2, preach the Word of God (give the Holy Spirit) to our brothers and sisters who are forgetting Christ. Because, let us remember that as Christians and as followers of Christ, this “preaching of the Word of God” is super important in our lives. And, let us remember one more thing from this Sunday that is if we preach the Word of God to our brothers and sisters who forgot God, we are surely going to LOVE GOD THE RIGHT WAY!
