Day 90 - Don't Stop Chasing Christ

 Focal Scripture: Matthew 15:21-28

    In this scripture, we can see a story where a mother is coming up to Jesus Christ for his grace to save her daughter. Today, we will know that we need to follow the mother in the story.

    The actions of the mother are a very beautiful display of unshaken faith. How is this so? We saw Jesus fire insults at this woman and offend her for no apparent reason. And I’m sure that Christ did this not meaningfully but to simply test her. And she passed the test.

    Despite the insults, this woman still stayed on her plea and her requests because she knew how important Christ was to her life and the healing of her daughter. She knew that no matter what happened, she was going home with her daughter healed. She decided that no matter the troubles, all of it was worth it because she was sure in her faith that Christ would deliver her daughter from her problem.

    So friends from today onwards, let us not give up on any big trouble/problem. Let us not forfeit. Because as we know we give up on even the tiniest things. Let us not do that. We often give up and don’t think it’s worth it. However, we should follow the example of this amazing woman, who stayed strong and stubborn to get what she needed from Christ no matter the difficulties. We should jump over these obstacles and keep our feet on the ground during these really hard times to receive our blessings from Christ. We should also remember that this should be the way we DON’T STOP CHASING CHRIST!
