Day 88 - Followers Of Christ

Focal Scripture: Luke 5:12-16

    In this scripture, we see Jesus healing a man suffering from a dreaded skin disease. Through this scripture, we can understand 2 things. Which are, how to pray properly and, how to be the right follower. Let’s get into it.

    First thing. We can actually relate to this person who has leprosy. Now, our type of “leprosy” might not be actual leprosy. It can be our sins/our diseases/anything that’s bothering us. Now, what we have to pray to God every day is, “God if you mind, please help us.” 

    The second thing, we can see in this scripture is that God is willing to help the man without any hesitation. Now, through this scripture, God is telling us to follow his actions, which is to help the people in need. 

    So friends from today onwards, let’s ask God to heal us from our “leprosy". And, let’s ask him the right way which is, “God if you mind, please help us.” Let’s also follow God’s actions, which is saying yes to people in need and always being willing to listen to other people’s problems. Let’s remember that if we do these things we will surely be the right FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST!
