Day 83 - Belief Without Seeing

Focal Scripture: John 1:41-53

Hey everyone, my name is Bryan and welcome to Bible Scoop. Today, we jump into the book of John, its 1st chapter verses, 43-51. Let’s go. https://www.bible.com/bible/296/JHN.1.43-51

In this scripture, we can see Jesus Christ getting two new disciples, Phillip and Nathanael. Today, we’re going to learn something important and crucial for our lives, from Nathanael.

As we can see, Jesus asked Phillip to come and follow Jesus Christ, and he immediately did. And Phillip came to Nathanael, to tell him that Jesus Christ, the Son of God had come, and whatever Moses wrote had come true. And at that moment, Nathanael was like us. Because he didn’t believe until Jesus told him or showed his miracle.

Now, from this story, Jesus is telling us indirectly to not do what Nathanael did in this series of Bible verses. Because, when we only start to believe after seeing miracles or wonders, we are surely not unconditional believers. Jesus obviously wants his children to believe in him truly. Because, when we do believe in Jesus Christ without seeing miracles or wonders, Jesus will know that we trust him.

So friends from today onwards, let’s make sure to believe in Jesus Christ without seeing miracles or wonders. Because when we do, we are true believers. And, that makes God so happy and he will know that we trust him with everything and that we've dropped our sceptical eyes. And, let’s remember the significance of the idea of, BELIEF WITHOUT SEEING!
