Day 78 - Great Children

Focal Scripture: Luke 1:5-25

    Hey everyone, my name is Bryan and welcome to Bible Scoop. Today, we jump into the book of Luke, its 1st chapter verses, 5-25. Let’s go. https://www.bible.com/bible/296/LUK.1.5-25

    In this scripture, we see the birth of John the Baptist announced to Zechariah by Gabriel Angel. Today we will only focus on verses, 15 &16. Basically, we’re going to focus on one reason why we must follow John the Baptist.

    Now if we read the scripture, we can see that Gabriel is describing John the Baptist as a great man in the Lord’s sight. Now, after this sentence, we can also see that the reasons why John the Baptist was prophesized as a great man in the Lord’s sight are listed down. Today, we’re going to focus on one of the other reasons why we have to follow John the Baptist, which is ‘he will bring back many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God.’ 

    This is a great deed because, when we do so, we’re bringing these people who turned they’re backs on God, closer to God, their Father. And, also when we do so we’re doing them a favour. We’re helping them get a better chance at obtaining Eternal Life.

    So friends from today onwards, let’s try to understand this reason and try to exercise what it states on our brothers and sisters who've turned their backs on God. Let’s remember that if we do perform this, then to God, we will surely be GREAT CHILDREN!
