Day 73 - God Is The Right Master

Focal Scripture: Luke 16:9-13

    Hey everyone, my name is Bryan and welcome to Bible Scoop. Today, we jump into the book of Luke, its 16th chapter verses, 9-13. Let’s go. https://www.bible.com/bible/296/LUK.16.9-13

    In this scripture, we can see Jesus teaching a lesson to the people there. We can also see that this lesson Jesus is teaching is not only meant for the people there, but for us too. For today, we are only going to focus on verse, 13. Now, if we go deeper into this verse, we can understand that Jesus is trying to make us understand something so big, something that has to be kept in our hearts for the rest of our lives. 

    First, we have to understand that when God is our master, we have to live according to his will. And, when we’re living according to his will, we are automatically walking in a path of faith that leads to God. A straight path without any bumps/potholes. 

    Now, this is what God wants us to understand, God wants us to understand that when we have two masters, one being God and the other being money/worldly desires/anything except God, something bad is going to happen. The path that we’re walking on/the path of faith that leads to God, that straight path is going to be split and curved because we have two masters. And, that deformation is only going to lead us away from God and to failure. 

    So friends from today onwards, let’s keep the big something that God wants us to understand in our hearts for the rest of our lives. Let’s know that it is super bad if we have two masters. Let’s understand that God should be our only master and that, GOD IS THE RIGHT MASTER!
