Day 54 - Information That Drives Us Forward

 Focal Scripture: Romans 11:1-6

    Hey everyone, my name is Bryan and welcome to Bible Scoop. Today, we jump into the book of Romans, chapter 11, verses 1-6. Let’s go!

    I always love going to this scripture as it’s a scripture of comfort and assurance. This is a scripture that puts me at ease by telling me that God loves us. Let me tell you why I feel this way. 

    This scripture’s got words from St Paul. And these words mean so much as they come from Christ’s disciple. He tells us that as God’s people, we will be forgiven. 

    Despite all the wrongs that we have done, St. Paul, a man of God, a spokesperson of God, tells us that our God is a God who forgives. Our God is a God who respects the mark that he laid on us which marks us as His children. 

    Don’t take it for granted though. Just because our God forgives, does not mean we are given the green lights to just go on a sinning rampage. Instead, we should move in a very smart way. We should be able to pick ourselves back up right after we fall due to sin by using the knowledge that God will forgive us and that it’ll be okay. And we should also be able to try our bestest to ensure that there won’t be a succeeding fall.

    And so like I said, this knowledge of God’s forgiveness really instills comfort, assurance and hope. This is INFORMATION THAT DRIVES US FORWARD.
