Day 53 - Doing The Work Of God Always Comes 1ST!

Focal Scripture: Luke 9:57-62

    In this scripture we see Jesus talking to his followers. Now if we go to the deeper meaning of this Bible verse, we can understand that the scripture is telling us something.

    And that is that, when we are faced with an instance in life where we have to pick between something important to us and doing the work of God, it’s always important to dive into the work of God without a second thought. The scripture goes on to tell us that doing the work of God should never fall to rank 2 in our priorities list. Because, when we proclaim the Gospel to people, the people we proclaim to get closer to God. And this really brings joy and happiness to God. 

    So friends from today onwards, let's take what the scripture is telling us to our everyday lives. Which is to know that all our priorities and tasks come 2nd to doing the work of God. Remember that God would never ask you to ditch your priorities and task. It’s just that He wants us to always have the thought in the back of our head that God’s work falls second to nothing else. And, let's roll with the principal that DOING THE WORK OF GOD ALWAYS COMES 1ST!
