Hey everyone, my name is Bryan and welcome to Bible Scoop. Before, we head into the focal scripture of today, I just want to thank God for giving me and all of you the Holy Spirit so that we could understand and receive the the Word of God in our lives, for 50 days. Over to the focal scripture of today, John chapter 21:1-14. Let’s go. https://www.bible.com/bible/296/JHN.21.1-14
In this scripture, we can see Jesus appearing to his disciples for the third time. Let’s turn to Peter and his actions. Now, if we go to the deeper meanings of this Bible verse, we can see that the scripture is telling us something and teaching us a valuable lesson.
And that something is, we’re like Peter. Peter lost his patience, so he went to becoming the person who he was, a fisherman. He thought that without Jesus in his life it would be hard to continue living as a follower Christ. We at times are like Peter, we lose our patience and go back into the life we had before, a sinful life. We think that Jesus is not in our lives and we think to ourselves “Why are we praising God if God’s not there? The answer to that is the valuable lesson the scripture is teaching us.
The valuable lesson is, we should not lose our patience and go back to having the life we had before, the sinful life. And, we should never think that Jesus is not in our life, because his love towards us is so everlasting, so pure, so big and so affectionate that he will never abandon us.
So, friends from today onwards, let’s learn and understand the valuable lesson this scripture is teaching us, which is to not lose our patience and go back to livng the life we had before the sinful life. And, that we should never think that Jesus is not in our life, because his love towards us is so everlasting, so pure, so big, and so affectionate that he will never abandon us. And, after we learn and understand this valuable lesson, we can be certain that, JESUS WILL NEVER ABANDON US!
