Day 49 - Believe In God In The Right Way

Focal Scripture: John 20:24-31

    Hey everyone, my name is Bryan and welcome to Bible Scoop. Before we jump into the focal scripture of today, I just want to say Happy New Sunday (Sunday after Easter – The Sunday of the Youth) to all of you.     In this scripture, we can see a familiar story to us, a story where Thomas (a disciple who was not among the other disciples when Jesus appeared to them) said that he won’t believe that Jesus has risen until he sees the scars of the nails in Jesus’s hands and puts his finger on them and puts his hand on the side of Jesus.

    Now, if we go to the deeper meanings of this Bible verse, we can understand that Jesus through this story, is teaching us something super important. And that is to, believe in God without seeing miracles and wonders. And, this is shown when Jesus tells Thomas, “Do you believe because you see me? How happy are those who believe without seeing me!” 

    So, friends from today onwards, let’s follow Jesus’ teaching, let’s believe in God without seeing miracles or wonders. Let's make sure to, BELIEVE IN GOD THE RIGHT WAY!
