Praise the Lord and hey everyone, my name is Bryan and welcome to Bible Scoop. Before we hop into the focal scripture for today, I just want to wish all of you a very Blessed and Happy Easter. With that being said, let's go over to the focal scripture, Mark 16:1-8. Let’s go.

In this scripture, we see Jesus being resurrected, and I’m sure all of us know this story. Now if we go to the deeper meanings of this Bible passage, we can understand that Jesus on this day is urging us to follow the women in this story, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome.
Now, the reason why we have to follow these women is that they listened to what the Holy Spirit asked them to do, which was to go over to Christ's tomb and anoint his body. And, they could have not listened to the Holy Spirit and just stayed back, took rest or stayed in hiding from the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who were trying to kill them. Instead, they listened to the Holy Spirit and went to the tomb, pushing away all their worries and concerns. And, when God saw their obedience to his Holy Spirit he blessed them greatly, by allowing them to see the resurrection of Christ.
So friends, from today onwards, let’s remember to look up to these women. Let’s move away from all our worries and concerns and listen to the Holy Spirit and surrender to his guidance. And, let’s remember that God’s going to see our obedience to the Holy Spirit, and He will certainly make sure that we get to see Christ's resurrection and that we are BLESSED ABUNDANTLY!
