Day 47 - Praise And Live In Union With Christ

Focal Scripture: Romans 6:1-4

    Praise the Lord and hello everyone, my name is Bryan and welcome to Bible Scoop. Before we hop into the focal scripture of today, I just want to wish all of you a Happy Gospel Saturday. Today, we hop into the book of Romans, its 6th chapter verses, 1-4. Let’s go. https://www.bible.com/bible/296/ROM.6.1-4

    In this scripture, we see St. Paul talking to us about having a new life. Now, I want to turn your attention to verse 4 which says, 'just as Christ was raised from death by the glorious power of the Father, so also we might live a new life.'

    Now, the life this scripture or St. Paul is talking about is a new life without sins and evil deeds. He's talking about a life where we praise God every single day. A life living in union with Christ. And, as said in the scripture, this is the very reason Jesus sacrificed Himself on the cross, in order that we may have the opportunity to choose to live this new life, instead of not having an option other than rotting in the old sinful life. 

    So friends, from today onwards, let’s have the life this scripture is asking us to have, a life without sin and evil deeds. Let’s have a life where we praise God every single day, Let’s make sure to LIVE IN UNION WITH CHRIST!
