Day 33 - Spiritual Paralysis

 Focal Scripture: Luke 6:6-11

Hello everyone, my name is Bryan and welcome to Bible Scoop. Today, we hop into the book of Luke, its 6th chapter verses, 6-11. Let’s go. https://www.bible.com/bible/296/LUK.6.GNBUK

In this scripture, we can see Jesus healing a man whose hand was paralyzed. Now, if we go to the deeper meanings of this Bible verse, we can see that this scripture is teaching us a big lesson and telling us to live by that lesson.

We are paralyzed like this man but not in physical terms but in terms of spirituality. Now, we might be thinking to ourselves, what does it mean to be spiritually paralyzed? The idea behind being spiritually paralyzed is that we are no longer able to move spiritually and carry out the will of God.

This man, at least went to the synagogue to hear Jesus’ words. And, that’s enough for Jesus. Because Jesus knew the effort he put into getting up from his bed and walking all the way to the synagogue, towards Jesus. He could have stayed home and taken rest, but he went. And, this is the reason why Jesus noticed only him from the crowd. And Jesus wants the same for us.

So, friends from today onwards, let’s follow what Jesus wants us to do. Let’s get up from whatever that’s pulling us down from doing the will of God. Let’s get up and walk to God so that we can be cured and have the will of God play out in our lives. Let’s have a better life which is, a life with the will of God in control. And, after we do all of this, let’s wait for Christ to cure our, SPIRITUAL PARALYSIS!
