Day 9 - Reaching The Kingdom Of God

 Focal Scripture: Matthew 18:1-5

    Hello everyone, my name is Bryan Anju Mathew and welcome to Bible Scoop. Today we head into the book of Matthew, its 18th chapter, verses 1-5. Let’s go. https://www.bible.com/bible/296/MAT.18.GNBUK

    In this scripture, we can see the disciples of Jesus asking him about who will enter the Kingdom of God, and Jesus answers them by saying, “you have to be like children to enter the Kingdom of God.” So now, we can take away two reasons as to why Jesus asked his disciples to be like children. 

    The first reason why Jesus asked the disciples to be like children, is because children don’t sin and they’re humble. And we can see in other scriptures too that humbleness and not sinning is really important in the eyes of God.

    And the second reason why Jesus asked his disciples to be like children, is because children love more than any person or animal in this world. And, as we know the scripture at all times, talk about love towards God and your brothers and sisters. And so, love is very important for reaching the Kingdom of God.

    So, friends from today onwards let’s not sin and let’s humble ourselves in front of God. Let’s love God, our brothers and sisters like children and let’s make sure that we’re on the journey of REACHING THE KINGDOM OF GOD!
