Day 6 - Free From Disease

    In this scripture, we can see that Jesus is healing a man who was suffering from a dreaded skin disease. But, there’s a twist, this man only had a dreaded skin disease on the outside because he overcame the dreaded skin disease that was inside of him with belief that Jesus could save him. Let’s break this down.

    The dreaded skin disease on the inside is the sins and the temptations that cover our hearts from having belief in Jesus that he can save us. But this man overcame this “dreaded skin disease on the inside” because he knew that Jesus would save him. 

    And, we have to be like this man all the time, we need to have belief in God all the time no matter the temptations and situations that try to block us from believing in God’s saving capability. We have to overcome the disease that’s in our hearts. And, we might not have the dreaded skin disease on the outside but we certainly do on the inside.

    So, friends let’s be the people who believe in God no matter the temptations and situations that block us from believing in God. Let’s overcome the dreaded skin disease on the inside with belief that Jesus can save us and let’s be the people who are FREE FROM DISEASE!
