Day 5 - Blind Belief

 Focal Scripture: John 4:46-54

    So, in this scripture, we can see that Jesus is healing a government official’s son as he was ill. Now, through this scripture, we can understand that no matter what we do that reduces our faith, and increases our sin, God will still be beside us. Because God is a loving and merciful God and a God who cares for his children. And, God proved that to us by sending his only son down for the forgiveness of our sins. 

    And, Jesus did that in this scripture too, he forgave the government official even when he was upset that the government official didn’t choose to believe him without miracles and wonders. However, his son was still cured at the same exact moment. Now this applies to us too. 

    And, sometimes we’re like the government official, we don’t believe without wonders and miracles, we often believe after having satisfied our worldly eyes, when we should use our spiritual eyes to look at the fact that God does not fail to deliver. 

    So, friends let’s be the children of God who has a heart that believes without miracles or wonders, who believes with a pair of spiritual eyes. Let’s remember to have a BLIND BELIEF!
