Day 4 - Doing The Will Of God

Focal Scripture: Matthew 5:21-24

    Hello everyone my name is Bryan Anju Mathew and welcome to Bible Scoop. Today, we dive into the book of Matthew again, its 5th chapter verses 21-24. https://www.bible.com/bible/296/MAT.5.GNBUK.

    So in this scripture, we can list out 2 important points. The first point is that the “brothers” Jesus is referring to, are not our literal brothers or cousins or relatives, but every single person around the world, let me explain. Because every single person around the world are the children of God and so are we. Hence why we are considered as their brothers.

    The second point that Jesus shows us across verses 22,23 & 24, is that forgiving and being generous to our brothers and sisters is super important in our lives. It’s even more important than lifting up offerings to God, because, doing that is the most important offering or the best offering you can give to God.

    So, friends let’s be the generous and forgiving people that God wants us to be. Let’s be the people who are DOING THE WILL OF GOD!
