Day 13 - The Healing Hand

 Focal Scripture: Mark 2:1-12

    In this scripture, we can see that Jesus is healing a paralyzed man. Now, we might be thinking that this is just a normal miracle performed by Jesus. No, it actually isn’t, because if we go to the deeper meanings of these Bible verses we can see that this miracle is teaching us a valuable lesson. Let’s see what this lesson is.

    The lesson that this miracle is showing us is that we have to be like those people who brought the paralyzed man to Jesus. We have to bring people to Christ (which is proclaiming the Gospel), people who need Christ in their life, people who are drowning in the flood of troubles and hardships. We have to be their carriers.

    And, we can only do this if we call on to the Holy Spirit. Because, the Holy Spirit comes to people who calls onto Him. And, our minds might be thinking right now, why do we need the Holy Spirit to bring people to Christ? The reason why we need the Holy Sprit is because, the Holy Spirit gives us the courage to talk and gives us the ideas and thoughts to be proclaimed to the people. 

    So, friends from today onwards let us bring those people who need Christ, to him, let’s bring those people who are drowning in the flood of their troubles and hardships to Christ. Let’s be their carriers, and let’s call onto the Holy Spirit for his courage that’ll help us to talk about the teachings and thoughts of God to His people. And, let’s get these people’s hands to THE HEALING HAND!
