Day 12 - The Best Hand To Pull Us Up
Focal Scripture: Mark 1:21-26
Hey everyone, my name is Bryan and welcome to Bible Scoop. Today, we dive into the book of Mark, its 1st chapter, verses 21-26. Let’s go! https://www.bible.com/bible/296/MRK.1.GNBUK
In this scripture, we can see that Jesus was preaching in the synagogue in the town of Capernaum. And, an evil spirit in a man interrupts Jesus and says, “What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Are you here to destroy us? I know who you are — you are God's holy messenger!” And, Jesus orders it, “Be quiet, and come out of the man!” And, then the evil spirit came out of that man.
Now, if we go to the deeper meanings of this Bible verse we can understand that, this conversation between Jesus and this man with an evil spirit, is teaching us a valuable lesson. The evil spirit was giving this man questions to ask Jesus, but even then Jesus saved him. And, now our minds might be thinking do we have evil spirits in us? In fact, we do and the evil spirit in us are the habits and the questions that pull us apart from God.
So, whenever we think that there’s no one’s hand to pull us up from our negative habits and doubts in God, remember, that there’s the hand of God to pull us up, and that’s the best hand we can get to be pulled up from our problems.
So, friends let’s believe God without any questions or doubts. Let's be sure that our God is ruler supreme and it's only going to take one word from Him for all our problems and demons to vanish. Let's make sure that we don't doubt Him for even a second. Let’s know that there’s a hand to pull us up, the hand of God, THE BEST HAND TO PULL US UP!
