Day 1 - God's There For You

    So in this scripture, we get the segment where Jesus after 40 days of fasting, is tempted by The devil. And if you’ve gone through this scripture, you’ll see that Jesus Christ is using The Word as an answer for everything, for example, he uses it as a weapon against satan. Here, we can also list out two factors that we have to face when we’re getting tempted.

    The first factor is that, we can get tempted at a time that is unexpected it can be any time, so what Jesus is telling us through this scripture is that we have to be ready to face that temptation, we need to know that a temptation is coming our way and the only way of knowing it is to be close to God, because God is our protector, our shield, our shelter. And, that’s the only way Jesus Christ overcame this temptation from the devil. He knew that the temptation was coming his way because he was filled with the Holy Spirit.

    And, the second factor is that, we have all the answers in the Bible, and the Bible itself is Christ, and so when we go to the Bible for help, we are directly walking up to God for help.

    So, my dear friends, let’s take note of this. Whenever a temptation occurs we can only overcome it with God’s help and only his help. And, always remember that GOD’S THERE FOR YOU.
